I mentioned Digg as one of the social bookmarks that helps getting quick search engine ranking here. Well, it’s true as far as I experienced it, but needs little effort. It’s very simple and no rocket science involved.
A story with quality content when gets a good number of diggs is admired by Google and so is brought on top for relevant search results. Here I’ll tell you what effort you need to do on Digg so that your story gets at top in SERP results. Here it goes:
- While submitting your story to Digg, make sure that the title contains the keyphrase you want to rank for.
- Having the keyphrase in story description is a plus.
- Your title should be enough good to attract attention and so diggs, better is to make it a question, something factual, an offer or anything that can excite the users.
Now comes the part to get more diggs; here you need the real hard work. Here’re some ways you can get more diggs on your story:
